Yes. Lake Garda is one of the few Italian settings offering legally binding civil ceremonies in truly spectacular locations — including a private island — with the documents prepared for you. Many couples instead marry legally at home and hold a symbolic ceremony on the lake. We guide you through whichever route suits you.
Budgets vary with guest count, venue and season. As a guide, our couples typically invest from around €60,000 upwards for a full-service celebration. After our first conversation we prepare a transparent, itemised estimate.
A legal (civil) ceremony is registered with the Italian state and needs specific documents and a licensed setting. A symbolic ceremony has no legal standing and can be held anywhere, in any language. Most international couples choose one of the two, and we help you decide.
Late April to early October, with May, June and September offering warm light and long evenings. We plan 18–24 months ahead to secure the finest venues and dates.
