Good to know

Planning a Tuscany wedding

Can foreign couples legally get married in Tuscany?

Yes. Foreign couples can hold a legally binding civil ceremony in Tuscany, with the documents prepared for you, or marry legally at home and celebrate symbolically at their villa. We guide you through whichever route suits you.

How much does a Tuscany wedding cost?

Budgets vary with guest count, venue and season. As a guide, our couples typically invest from around €70,000 upwards for a full-service celebration, with a transparent, itemised estimate after our first conversation.

Symbolic or legal ceremony — what’s the difference?

A legal (civil) ceremony is registered with the Italian state and needs specific documents and a licensed setting. A symbolic ceremony has no legal standing and can be held anywhere, in any language. We help you decide.

When is the best time to marry in Tuscany?

May to June and September to early October offer warm days, long light and the harvest atmosphere. We plan 18–24 months ahead to secure the finest villas.
