Venice Wedding Planner

Bespoke celebrations in the world’s most romantic city

Venice

A wedding in Venice, planned with an architect’s eye

There is nowhere on earth like Venice — a city of water, light and centuries of art, where guests arrive by boat and dinner is served beneath frescoed ceilings in a private palazzo.

Style a Wedding designs and plans destination weddings in Venice for couples travelling from across the world. Every celebration is bespoke — venue and vision, guest experience, ceremony (legal or symbolic) and the hundred quiet details that reveal themselves only on the day. We accept a limited number of weddings each year, so that yours has our full attention.

Why Venice

The most romantic city in the world

Grand Canal palazzi

Historic palaces along the Grand Canal open their piano nobile and water terraces to only a handful of weddings each year.

Arrive by water

Gondolas and elegant motoscafi, a blessing in a Venetian church or symbolic vows on a private terrace over the lagoon.

An intimate scale

Venice suits refined, design-led celebrations. We orchestrate transfers, palazzo dinners and the whole choreography by water.

Planning a Venice wedding

Can foreign couples legally get married in Venice?

Yes. Foreign couples can hold a legally binding civil ceremony in Venice — including in historic palace settings — with the documents prepared for you. Many couples instead marry legally at home and celebrate symbolically on a palazzo terrace or by the lagoon. We guide you through either route.

How much does a Venice wedding cost?

Venice is a premium destination and budgets vary with guest count and venue. As a guide, our couples typically invest from around €90,000 upwards for a full-service celebration, with a transparent, itemised estimate after our first conversation.

Symbolic or legal ceremony — what’s the difference?

A legal (civil) ceremony is registered with the Italian state and needs specific documents and a licensed setting. A symbolic ceremony has no legal standing and can be held anywhere, in any language. We help you decide which suits you.

When is the best time to marry in Venice?

Late April to June and September to October offer the kindest light and weather, away from summer heat and the highest tides. We plan 18–24 months ahead to secure the finest palazzi.
