Philip and Gemma from UK, with their cute 2 years old daughter Violet, landed on the magical Garda island, a romantic and sophisticated setting with a garden overlooking the lake among the most beautiful in Italy. Here they decided to have their ceremony, in the lush and colorful nature of late Spring. For the reception, they instead decided for an elegant Relais on the hills reserved entirely for a more days long celebration with their guests.
The theme of the whole event was succulent plants in their delicate pastel shades. Gemma, the bride, is a florist and loves plants, a really challenging starting point to customise this wedding on Lake Garda! It was really fun to use succulent plants as main element for the decorations.
The color scheme was then a mix of pastel colors: lavender, quartz rose, mint and aqua.
For the reception tables we have designed a mix of succulents in all their lovely shades among an array of candles and olive branches. The olive trees surround the terrace with swimming pool where dinner would have taken place and are a typical element on Lake Garda shores. As the lemons are, from which the famous Limoncello is made, an idea that is really suitable as a favour for guests! Then I think that some vintage details as old doilies and the beautiful FIAT car in light grey helped to add an even more Italian style.
