Victoria and Ronan are an elegant modern couple living in London. She has Swiss origins, he is Irish but they are both in love with Italy and their desire was to get married in Sicily for its colorful and authentic vibes, but also for the good food and incredible local wine selection.
When they first reached out to us about planning their destination wedding in Sicily they asked for a wedding that felt like a big party linked to Sicilian traditions and few touches coming from their original countries.
We then planned their bespoke wedding with styling that suited them, elegant and sophisticated but with a strong bond with the authentic and wild nature of location. The wedding venue is a castle immersed in the biggest citrus grove in Sicily. The overflowing nature of Sicily is all around.
The ceremony was held under a centuries-old tree, cheered up by the music of a local folk group that involved guests in Sicilian dances and songs; They’re all crazy about them!
For the dinner in the charming inside rooms of the castle we arranged a sophisticated candlelight table decor; Personalized tambourines with old trimmings in dusty blue, cream and gold color and fan menus with gold tassel on each place; glass and gold candlesticks and ivory flowers all along the tables.
To recall the origins of the couple we have instead created a corner with Irish whiskey and Swiss chocolate, very much appreciated by guests.
The dress code of the event was desert tones for ladies and black tie for men, very elegant!
