This time let us bring you in Tuscany, among the magical hills of Chianti area, in a lovely place, full of charm, that was the frame of this romantic wedding in Tuscany.
A young couple, Arrigo and Mariangela, wanted to get married in the family estate of the groom, planning an event that would had bring together their families and the many friends from all over Italy. A wedding in Tuscany, in the very heart of Italy, seemed the best occasion and place suitable for the purpose. When Mariangela contacted us it was clear from the beginning the style that she had in mind for their special day: Elegant and Refined yet in tune with the hilly environment of the Tuscan family winery.
A particular attention to details has characterized this wedding in Tuscany, where nothing was left to chance and every aspect of the event was carried out following a precise common thread. The predominant colors, chosen for the event, were green, white and light pink, with their shades in soft tones, delicate and elegant. The same hues were used for the beautiful invitations with floral pattern very much in line with the Tuscan landscape.
This shades recurred in all other details, from the custom menu cards, to the ceremony booklets, ending to the customized labels of the estate wine bottles used as a precious gift for the guests of this refined wedding in Tuscany.
AN INTIMATE CEREMONY IN THE ROMANESQUE CHURCH
Mariangela decided to prepare herself in quietude of an elegant suite, not far from Castellina in Chianti village where the ceremony would take place.
Her mother, her sister and grandchildren kept company to the bride during the preparations; an intimate moment that the bride wanted to share with her loved ones. Because let’s face it… in those moments It’s not the quantity but the quality that counts!
We always suggest to be surrounded by a few people with whom we have great confidence, to avoid too much confusion and to let them help us relax and enjoy the special moment that comes before the wedding.
The bride’s wedding gown in lace and silk was matched to a sophisticated makeup and a stylish yet light hairstyle that valorized it.
To get the ceremony venue she decided for a vintage Volkswagen van with which Mariangela, her father and four grandchildren who would accompany her to the altar, reached the beautiful Romanesque church of Castellina in Chianti.
Being the Romanesque style church already beautiful in its simplicity, we decided to decorate it bringing inside a bit of the surrounding countryside greenery and creating a green aisle on either side of the white lane to the altar.
Out of the church, at the end of the ceremony, a refreshing Italian granita awaited guests in the cozy small square, where many inhabitants of the village came to see the newlyweds.
COLOR AND FLAVOR OF A WEDDING IN TUSCANY
After the ceremony, guests reached the beautiful country house in the Tuscan hills; the aperitif, with wonderful views of the vineyards, took place along an avenue where it was recreated a typical Italian market with wooden stalls, benches and elegant custom ivory cushions with the initials of the bride and groom embroidered in beige color.
The stalls were offering a wide selection of delicious typical Tuscan dishes in their numerous varieties, a perfect way to taste all the colors and tastes of a wedding in Tuscany.
The dinner was held in an elegant crystal marquee overlooking the Tuscan hills, with long wooden rectangular tables decorated with a thousand candles and flowers in soft shades of pink and ivory.
The cake cutting by the pool then gave off the dancing until late into the night.
Tuscany, with its beautiful landscapes and its gentle hills definitely has a special place in our hearts to organize a wedding in Italy, in this case the harmony and cooperation that had arisen with the bride helped to create a wonderful event…so there is nothing left to say but…. greeting guys!
We wish you a life illuminated by a warm and romantic light like the one you had on the day of your beautiful wedding in Tuscany.
